The ski area in numbers
Kopaonik is the largest ski centre in Serbia. According to JP Skijališta Srbije, which runs the resort, these are the headline figures:

The runs are groomed for both alpine and nordic skiing. The highest point is Pančićev vrh (2,017 m), and the area descends towards Brzeće, to which it is linked by gondola.
What 97 percent snowmaking actually means
This is the figure that matters most when choosing dates. Resorts with poor coverage depend on whether snow has fallen; at 97 percent coverage the season rests largely on the snowmaking system, which makes it far more predictable. Snowmaking still needs low temperatures, though — in a warm spell even it cannot help, so it is worth checking the current ski report before booking.

Night skiing
Three runs are floodlit — Pančićev vrh, Karaman greben and Malo Jezero. All three are in the centre of the ski area, within walking distance of the Konaci complex. The operator publishes the nights and hours during the season.
Ski pass
There are day, multi-day and season passes, plus special categories: duo, baby, child and senior tickets. They are sold at points in the resort or online through the official shop at shop.skipas.rs.
Tip: buying online before the season carries a discount, and the earlier you buy the larger it is. If you already know your dates, a pass bought in good time is noticeably cheaper than one bought at the counter mid-season.

Ski schools, service and equipment
Kopaonik has several ski schools and licensed instructors, along with a number of equipment service and rental shops. For guests staying in Konaci there is a practical advantage: ski service and rental operate inside the complex itself, by the konak entrances — you do not have to carry equipment across the settlement, which in winter is no small thing.
Arriving by car

Why the centre makes a good base
The ski area is organised around the central section, where the main lift stations are. Staying in the centre means walking to the slopes — no ski bus, no moving the car every morning — and after skiing you are back at the apartment in a few minutes rather than waiting for transport.

Staying in the centre, 200 m from the slopes
Konaci 119 is a renovated 22 m² apartment in the Zvečan building, in the Sunčani vrhovi complex. The slopes are about 200 metres away, ski service and shops are inside the complex, and the car park is by the building entrance. It sleeps up to three guests and has an equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, a Smart TV and self check-in.
